The Scout

In the film “The Scout” (1994), Al Percolo, a talent scout played by Albert Brooks, finds himself in hot water when his latest recruit flops at a Major League Baseball debut. Banished to the remote corners of Mexico, Al stumbles upon a young pitching sensation, Steve Nebraska, portrayed by Brendan Fraser, whose skills could usher in a lucrative opportunity. As the New York Yankees dangle a $55 million contract, a psychiatrist, played by Dianne Wiest, must first verify Steve’s mental readiness for the big leagues – and there’s even a cameo from Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. The Scout (1994) is now available. Stream it online for free on cineby and 123Movies to see if Nebraska’s talent can meet the demands of the big league.
