The Toy

When his mischievous son Eric comes for his yearly visit, wealthy U.S. Bates takes him to his department store, allowing him to pick any item as a present. Rather than a toy, Eric selects a janitor who managed to amuse him with his humorous antics. Initially, the janitor endures numerous challenges as Eric’s “toy,” but over time he imparts valuable lessons on friendship to the isolated boy.
