The Trough

Yu Chau, an undercover cop, is so deeply embedded in the triad that he’s lost sight of the line between right and wrong. In a tragic accident, he kills a friend during a mission and retreats to the countryside to find solace. On returning to the city, he collaborates with officers Jim and Jackie to bring down a triad leader, uncovering high-level corruption within the government. Faced with this revelation, Yu Chau must decide whether to act outside the legal system he once swore to uphold. The Trough (2018) is a must-watch thriller.
