The Tunnel

Set against the backdrop of 2007’s severe drought and water scarcity, the NSW State government reveals its strategy to access and recycle vast amounts of water lingering in Sydney’s disused train tunnels. Unexpectedly, the plan is halted with no explanation given to the public. Meanwhile, rumors spread about homeless individuals disappearing from the tunnels, contradicting government claims of their absence. Irked by the official silence and potential deceit, journalist Natasha, along with her team—Pete the producer, Steve the cameraman, and Tangles the sound technician—ventures into the tunnels to dig into this rumored cover-up.
