The Yellow Wallpaper

Dive into a haunting retelling of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s provocative gothic feminist tale, where themes of patriarchy and hysteria come to life. Follow Jane, an aspiring author and new mother, who is subjected to a rest cure prescribed by her doctor husband, John. He takes her to an isolated estate for the summer, and she becomes increasingly fixated on the strange yellow wallpaper in the room he selected for her. Amidst her solitude, she clandestinely pens a story about a woman ensnared within the wallpaper who seeks liberation.
