Top Knot Detective

In the early 1990s, an unconventional Japanese samurai detective series took Australian audiences by storm, gaining a dedicated cult following. Originally called “Ronin Suiri Tentai” in Japan, which translates to “Deductive Reasoning Ronin,” it became known in the West as “Top Knot Detective.” This iconic series was a chaotic masterpiece, spearheaded by the eccentric Takashi Tawagoto, who was simultaneously the writer, producer, director, and star, despite lacking in acting, fighting, or writing skills.
