Tropic Thunder

The memoir Tropic Thunder by Vietnam veteran ‘Four Leaf’ Tayback is being adapted into a movie. However, the director, Damien Cockburn, struggles to manage his self-important cast. Faced with delays and budget overruns, a studio executive pressures Cockburn to speed up production or face cancellation. Following Tayback’s suggestion, Cockburn decides to immerse the actors in a jungle setting to shoot the rest of the scenes. What they don’t realize is that the “set” is actually the perilous Golden Triangle, infamous for its drug cartels. Tropic Thunder is now available to stream online.
