Julius and Vincent Benedict are the products of a scientific experiment aimed at creating the ideal human being. Julius, the intended outcome, matures into a physically impressive man. Meanwhile, Vincent, an unintended result, is smaller and ends up in an orphanage, while Julius grows up on a secluded island under the care of philosophers.
