Two Evil Eyes

Two Evil Eyes (1990) weaves two chilling tales inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, both set against the backdrop of Pittsburgh. The first story, “The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar,” follows a woman scheming to defraud her dying husband out of his fortune, using her hypnotist lover to manipulate him into signing over his wealth. However, when the husband dies while hypnotized, he is trapped between life and death, inadvertently opening a portal to the afterlife for the undead. The second story, “The Black Cat,” centers on Rodd Usher, a troubled photographer who spirals into insanity after killing a stray cat that his girlfriend Annabelle had brought home. This murder sets off a chain of events involving further killings and intricate deceptions. Watch now for free.
