UKIP: The First 100 Days

“UKIP: The First 100 Days” is a 2015 mockumentary airing on Channel 4 in the UK on February 16, 2015, ahead of the general election in May of that year. It presents a fictional narrative exploring how the UK might be governed if the Eurosceptic UK Independence Party (UKIP) emerged victorious in the election, with Nigel Farage assuming the role of Prime Minister. Styled as a fly-on-the-wall documentary, the story follows UKIP’s first female Asian MP, Deepa Kaur, portrayed by Priyanga Burford, as she grapples with the party’s rigid immigration stance amidst escalating public dissatisfaction with its extreme policies.
