Uncertain Glory

Set in the backdrop of Aragon in 1937, “Uncertain Glory” follows the story of Lluís (Marcel Borràs), a young officer in the Republican army stationed at a temporarily inactive front. During his stay, he becomes smitten by Carlana (Núria Prims), a mysterious widow who cunningly manipulates him to forge a document granting her authoritative control over the area. Lluís’s confidant, Soleràs (Oriol Pla), a disgraced officer, uncovers this deceit. Instead of revealing the truth, Soleràs requests a favor: he wants Lluís to send his son and wife away from the danger in Barcelona, secretly harboring feelings for Lluís’s wife, Trini (Bruna Cusí). Upon Trini’s arrival at the village, she quickly discovers Lluís’s infidelity, creating a “state of war” between them, challenging every moral tenet they hold dear. Stream Uncertain Glory (2017) now!
