Unthinkable

In “Unthinkable” (2010), an individual who has converted to Islam sends the U.S. government a video, revealing he might have hidden nuclear bombs in three different storage facilities set to go off in less than a week. The task of locating these potential threats falls to Helen Brody, an FBI agent based in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, a CIA “consultant” named H takes charge of interrogating the suspect, who has been apprehended under peculiar circumstances. The suspect, who has been deserted by his family, appears well-prepared for the tough interrogation ahead. Despite H’s escalating use of torture, which conflicts with Brody’s moral stand, the suspect remains resilient. The central question looms: can any constitutional right justify the risk of significant loss of life? Watch Unthinkable (2010) online now.
