War Story

Lee, an exhausted American woman, finds herself in an Italian city where her frazzled interactions with hotel employees, constant smoking, and dismissive ignorance of a ringing phone suggest an underlying turbulence. During her restless wanders, she captures refugees on film, wielding her camera as both a tool for connection and separation. As she battles her internal struggles, she becomes determined to assist a stunning young woman who needs help. War Story (2014) is available to stream.
