Warriors

Nestled beneath the imposing Mount Kenya, a group of young Maasai Warriors undertakes an extraordinary journey by forming a cricket team. In a society steeped in age-old customs, where female genital mutilation (FGM) persists as a coming-of-age ceremony, these Warriors channel their frustrations with social injustice by playing cricket across the vast Kenyan plains and aspiring for a future beyond their village. Their path leads them to the birthplace of cricket, England—a journey that equips them with the bravery to challenge their community leaders and strive to abolish FGM.
