West of Brooklyn

“West of Brooklyn” invites viewers on an emotional and occasionally comedic adventure from the streets of Brooklyn to the sunlit avenues of Hollywood, California. The tale follows Sebi, a young Italian American man who hides his passion for beat poetry while masquerading as an ordinary street youth. In the wake of his mother’s passing, he flees Brooklyn to reconnect with friends who have ventured to Los Angeles. These vibrant New Yorkers find themselves as outsiders in the City of Angels, and Sebi yearns for something that resembles home. His journey leads him to Matty, a stunningly wealthy girl hailing from Beverly Hills, and Gaetano D’Amico, the Bronx poet he idolizes, who together guide Sebi to embrace his true identity.
