Where the Road Runs Out

Renowned scientist George, based in Rotterdam, feels increasingly disillusioned with the academic world. The unexpected loss of a longtime friend propels him back to his African homeland, where he assumes control of an abandoned research station deep in the jungles of Equatorial Guinea. There, he befriends a cheerful orphan boy who helps George see the vibrant beauty of the area. The boy also plays Cupid, pairing George with the woman who oversees the local orphanage.
