WWE Battleground

WWE Battleground 2014 was a thrilling professional wrestling event held as a pay-per-view spectacle by WWE on July 20, 2014, at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida. This was the second annual event in the Battleground series, following its inception in 2013. A total of nine matches were showcased, including two pre-show bouts presented for the first time. The event featured two enthralling main events that kept the audience on the edge of their seats. The first main event unfolded with Seth Rollins claiming victory over Dean Ambrose via forfeit, following an intense backstage brawl that led to Ambrose being escorted out by security on orders from Triple H. Despite this, Ambrose managed to outsmart the guards, hiding in a car trunk to launch a surprise attack on Rollins in the ring. In the second headliner, John Cena triumphed over Roman Reigns, Kane, and Randy Orton in an exhilarating fatal four-way match to hold onto the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
