Young Hercules

Directed by T.J. Scott, this movie serves as a precursor to the well-loved TV series, taking you back to the youthful days of the legendary hero. It follows 17-year-old Hercules, played by Ian Bohen, as he joins a school for mythological warriors where he befriends Jason, heir to the throne of Corinth. Upon learning that Jason’s father has fallen ill, Hercules embarks on a quest to find the Golden Fleece, hoping it will be the cure. However, he faces challenges, including the limits of his powers and interference from his half-brother, Ares. The story unfolds against the stunning backdrop of New Zealand’s landscapes.
